The upside of not being able to get our hands on this month's book was that we were behind anyway.  And so it was that this month we met up to discuss A Fine Balance by Rohinton Mistry.  Alas, I was the only one who had read the book (read my review on the Book page), so as a result there was not a lot of book discussion to be had.  However, while we may not have been enriching our lives through reading, there was lots of discussion on the health kicks we all seem to be on at the moment (now that its summer time) so surely that has to count for something!

I've come to notice that I seem to have a bit of a standard practice now when it comes to book club.  I plonk myself down as close as possible to the nibbles and eat them like there on a sushi train straight into my mouth.  I don't even come up for air.  I ate so many olives at Jess' house I woke up the next morning still tasting them. For shame.

Also, you may have by noticed that I did not take photos on the night and have therefore just inserted some random ones to enjoy.  Dana in fine form at the bowling comp we went to and didn't win; Jess doing the deadly jello shots at a house party last weekend; and me enjoying the vineyards of Bordeaux in France!  Until next time peeps :)
