Of all the blogs I've done on our meetings, this will easily going be the hardest to write. Basically I didn't go. Sorry, I wasn't feeling well. So, what can I do?
I was going to include some of the banter from the email train going round afterwards, but unfortunately I seemed to have deleted all the emails. Jeez, OK, I'll just include some photos of the book clubbers I found of late, for no other reason than I think photos are an important addition to any blog. As much as I love reading, a picture tells a thousand words.
Hmmm... actually that reminds me of a theory I have about books and TV/movies - because pictures do tell a thousand words you really don't need to think at all when you watch TV, the pictures do it all for you. A book on the other hand, makes you use your imagination, which is harder, but often a million times better than the pictures put in front of you. That's why the books are always better than the movies!
